x Ship Letter Handstamps England Plymouth 1769-1908 collection comprising entire letters (6), entires (11) and envelope and a picture postcard with mail from Cape of Good Hope, India (3), Madeira (2), New South Wales (2), Spain (2), USA (2) and one addressed to Cape of Good Hope, markings include unframed "plymouth/ship.lre" Type S.1, unframed "plymouth/ship-lre" Type S.2, double-oval "Ship Lre/Crown/plymouth" Type S.4 in red, double oval "ship letter/Crown/plymouth" Type S.5, step-type "ship-letter/plymouth" Type S.6a, reversed step-type "ship letter/plymounth" Type S.7a, circular "plymouth/ship letter" datestamps Type S.9 and S.12, framed "india letter/plymouth" Types In.1 in black (4) and in red, and In.3, unframed "india letter/plymouth" Type In.4 and circular "plymouth/packet letter" datestamp Type P.2 in black and in green, the two covers from Madeira show either framed "colonies/&c.art.13" in red or circular "gb/1f".
