Gold Coast 1884 (8 Dec.) envelope to Accra, bearing 1876-84 4d. magenta quartered and neatly cancelled with "winnebah" Code C c.d.s. (Type 2) with a further superb strike at lower left corner and "accra" Code C c.d.s. (Type 2, 8.12) at top centre; the adhesive and cover with a few small faults though the sole example of this stamp shortage franking on cover recorded by John Sacher. R.P.S. Certificate (1976).
