x Cayman Islands 1907 (Nov.) "1d" on 5/- salmon and green showing very clear surcharge double, unused with part original gum, fine. Extremely rare and a major exhibition showpiece. B.P.A. Certificate (1933). S.G. 19a, £22,000 Estimate £ 10,000-12,000 Note: Approximately 15 or so examples with surcharge double are believed to exist. Of these, one is in a marginal block of four, two are in pair with normal, two are postally used and three fiscally used.
