Great Britain King George V Downey Head Essays Hentschel zinc block essays, proofs in black of the second essays with thinner figures of value, 2d. and 3d. values printed se-tenant on thick wove paper (105x137mm.), and a piece of identical blank wove paper (45x137mm.), presumably cut from the left of the original block of six impressions, showing manuscript "2nd. Proof" in pencil; some light creasing (one runs between the stamps) and a few marginal pinholes well clear of the designs. Very rare with no complete sheet showing all six values recorded in private hands Estimate £ 8,000-10,000
