Great Britain 1873-80 Large Coloured Letters 6d. pale buff plate 13, RA, abnormal, cancelled with part Leeds "447" numeral which is centred low leaving the plate numbers completely clear; a couple of trivial creases or wrinkles. An attractive example of this scarce stamp of which only forty-nine examples are recorded. B.P.A. Certificate (1999) stating "soiled" which we consider a little harsh. S.G. 145, £20,000.
