United States 1845 Postmasters´ Provisional New York 5c. black on bluish initialled A.C.M., large margins, tied by blue pen cancellation on 1845 (15 Oct.) entire letter p "Cambria via Boston" via forwarding agents in London to Trieste, showing paid handstamp in red and, on reverse, London arrival datestamp; the face panel with a small mended tear to the left of the address.
