x South Australia 1876-1900 watermark Broad Star, perf 11 1/2-12 1/2 (large holes), 1/- chocolate block of eight (4x2) with interpanneau margin at right, variety imperforate vertically between, the lower left stamp with scarred nose, unused with large part to full original gum, very well-centred for this stamp and of excellent rich colour, the first vertical row with light crease not affecting fine appearance.
