Johore Kota Tinggi 1901 (4 July) Royal Johore Tin Mining Co. envelope to Hong Kong readdressed to Shanghai, bearing 1899 4c. vertical pair placed sideways and clearly tied by fine circular "kotatinggi/Star and Crescent/johore" (Type K2, earliest recorded date) and showing, in opposite corner, circular "kota/tinggi" h.s. (Type D3, earliest recorded date) with manuscript date inserted and, on reverse, Singapore (9.7), Hong Kong (12.7) and arrival (16.7) datestamps. Rare and most attractive.
