Johore Johore Bahru G.P.O 1890 (5 May) yellow envelope to India, bearing Straits Settlements 1882 8c. orange tied by Singapore dumb obliterator (Type K26 state 2), in combination with 1884-91 2c. rose tied by circular "johore/Star and Crescent/bahru" (Type K2) and both crossed and tied by manuscript "Stamped", showing light "johore bahru/paid" c.d.s. (Type PD2) alongside and, on reverse, Singapore and various Indian datestamps; the envelope with some small faults, nevertheless a rare and attractive franking. Photo Estimate S$ 1,800-2,200
