Gibraltar 1886 (1 January) Overprinted on Stamps of Bermuda Issue, Covers The following section offers what is almost certainly the finest group of these first issue covers ever assembled in one collection. It features a number of remarkable frankings and rates, together with some most unusual destinations South District 1886 (28 May) blue envelope (223x103mm., central vertical fold) registered to London, bearing 1/- yellow-brown cancelled "A26" and with a superb strike of the "registered/gibraltar south district" oval d.s. at lower left corner, London Registered oval d.s.
