Great Britain Postal History 1865 (25 Dec.) mourning envelope to Windsor Castle in the hand of Queen Victoria and endorsed "The Queen", bearing 1858-79 1d. plate 72 cancelled by a fine impression of the extremely rare "por/sc" (Portsmouth Sorting Carriage) in six-pointed star which was reserved for use by the Queen at Osborne House, with Portsmouth Sorting Office datestamp alongside, Windsor arrival (26.12) on reverse; fine. An extremely rare combination of Royal interest and cancellation rarity.
