Joan Tompkin W.A.A.F. in Leicester, bearing Air Mail Transatlantic 30c. cancelled New York 16 Sept., another from Bandoeng to the same addressee franked 10c., Air Mail 15c., 20c. (2), censored on arrival. Also two Censored letters from Tompkin to Bruinier in Bandoeng, the first bearing Great Britain 1939-48 2/6 brown with "returned to sender" label and marked "postage refunded", the second franked 5/- red and with violet boxed "no service/return to sender" cachet; faults but an interesting group relating to the Invasion of pearl Harbour Estimate £ 100-150
