George III, British Victories in the Peninsula 1814, a box set of 25 small brass medals by Thomason and Son, the lid with marquis of wellington, bust left, the medals commemorating battles from Roliera and Vimiera August 1808 to Toulouse June 1814 (BHM.--), extremely fine, rare Estimate £ 300-400 The box set of 25 medals was issued soon after the Treaty of Paris, signed on 30 May 1814. Another box, inscribed ´British Victories´, depicting the Duke of Wellington on the lid and containing a further brass token commemorating the Battle of Waterloo (BHM 888), was issued in 1815.
