Baldwin, November 2003. This coin is a die duplicate of Carlyon-Britton (Sotheby 20-24 November 1916) lot 1405 where full the moneyers signature is clear proving this coin is indubitably by Leofwine. Patination suggests this coin is ex ´Bournemouth´ hoard, 1901. With AH Baldwin Snr ticket c.1910 with price of 25/-.
