A.S.C.), edge bruising to fourth, otherwise good very fine Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque (2) (Thomas Algar Jones; John Stirling), last mounted in a glazed frame (9) Estimate £ 60-80 TR3/3876 Private Thomas Algar Jones, served with the 48th Battalion, Training Reserve during the Great War, died 2.11.1917, and is buried in Rhondda (Ferndale) Cemetery, Glamorgan. There are several men with the name John Stirling listed on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission roll for the Great War.
