Bord.), about extremely fine (3) Estimate £ 80-100 7172 Private John Robertson, born Morebattle, Roxburgh; served with the 1st/4th Battalion King´s Own Scottish Borderers during the Great War; killed in action at Gallipoli, 12.7.1915, on which date the Battalion suffered over 60 per cent casualties at the Battle of Achi Baba Nullah, including their Commanding Officer, and is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey.
