Quebec Central Railway Co., £25 first preference shares, fully paid, Sherbrooke 188(2), attractive coat of arms at top, black, good very fine. Estimate £ 50 Incorporated in 1869 as the Sherbrooke, Eastern Townships and Kennebec Railway, and changed its name to the Quebec Central Railway in 1875. The line extended to about 300 miles by 1912 when it was leased to the Canadian Pacific Railway for 999 years.
