Only three denominations were made for this issue, 50, 100 and 200 pesos. The 200 pesos were never issued and an example of the issued 100 pesos is held at the Bank of Cordoba museum archive. Less than 10 examples of an issued 50 pesos is known. After recognising the need for a central bank in the province to facilitate trade, the governor created the Banco Entre-Riano. Due to the province's proximity to Uruguay, and presumably large amount of trade was done with them, the banknotes were based on Bolivian money. Seamen's Overseas Service Payment Certificate, 1 dollar, ND (ca. 1940s), series 3, serial number 030052, purple and blue, seahorses at left and right, reverse sailing ship, navigation compass rose at left and right, watermarked paper(Schwan-Boling 971), in PMG 25 Very Fine, first sentence of Schwan/Boling says (The Seamen's Overseas Service and its notes are mysteries). At the time of cataloguing no other issued example known, with only a handful of specimen notes known, that were printed by American Bank Note Company.
