On the 17th of July 2013, Spink will be holding the fourth and final auction of the highly celebrated David Kirch Collection of English Provincial Banknotes. It is the largest collection of provincial banknotes to ever come on to the market, and it has gathered massive interest from collectors. This legendary series of sales is soon to come to a memorable end.

The collection was amassed by David Kirch, a private collector currently at the top of the Sunday Times Giving List. All proceeds from the auctions are being donated to the David Kirch Charitable Trust.

Part IV focuses on Yorkshire and the North and includes a number of valuable items from Cumberland, County Durham, Lancashire, Northumberland, Westmoreland and Yorkshire.

These items include four rare £5 notes:
