AQ, double saltire stops, King standing in ship, holding sword and shield, ropes 3/1, ornaments 1-1-1-1, quatrefoils 4/4, rev. + IhC : AVTEM : TRANSIENS : PER : MEDIVM : ILLORVM : IBAT :, double saltire stops, including after IBAT, floriate cross, crowned leopards in angles, large R in centre, 7.70g, 12h, i.m. cross pattée (Isladulcie -; Schneider I, 126/128 same obverse die; Webb-Ware 1b; N.1302; Spink 1654), struck with rusty dies, otherwise on a full flan, very fine, bolder still in parts, scarce

The reverse die is evidently rare, for it is not represented in the Schneider corpus and has been traced by this cataloguer to only one other vastly inferior specimen offered in New York (Stack's Bowers, 11 January 2019, lot 40288)
