1879 (29 March) stampless envelope to Nice, endorsed voie francaise, with blue octagonal Corr. D. Armees/Saintes T.d.h. Datestamp, the Military concession not recognised and the cover with "T" in triangle and "5" (decimes) handstamp for Postage Due, matching St. Nazaire entry marking; small perimeter faults, flap and part of the reverse missing and some slight staining.
