1860 (10 June) entire from St. Pierre to Marseilles, paying the double rate, as confirmed with purple "2" in manuscript at top left, with 10c. (cut into at left) and 40c. pairs, tied by mute lozenges on despatch with matching c.d.s. at left, showing two strikes, one tying the franking, of the French entry c.d.s. at Calais, with transit of Paris on back. Portion of paper loss at right and back of the cover, and ink erosions. Maury 3, 5.
