1853 (27 Feb.) front from St. Pierre to Paris, carried via England by the R.S.M.P. "Parana" arriving at Southampton on 22 March, correctly paying the single rate with 1849-50 25c. pair and single 1fr., clear to predominantly large margins, tied by "PC2" dotted lozenge of Paris on arrival, with despatch and Calais c.d.s. alongside; very fine, exhibiting the rare usage of the dotted lozenge to cancel the franking.
