1833 (10 May) entire letter from Mayaquez (Puerto Rico) to Bordeaux, carried privately to St. Thomas where it was forwarded with the endorsement "St. Thomas le 28 mai 1833, Recue l'acheminee via Martinique par C. Lopez Dubec & G. Nunex" on reverse, charged "3" (decimes) and showing framed "pays d'outremer" with arrival datestamp (25.7) on reverse; a little soiled.
