1903 (Feb.) envelope to Capt. F.W. Jarvis, Headquarters B Division, South African Constabulary, Pretoria and upon arrival redirected to Pietersberg, bearing India 1a. carmine pair each light cancelled "B" in circle of bars with Pretoria datestamp (6.3) below, the reverse with light "experimental p.o." datestamp across flap alongside two other indistinct datestamps. An interesting cover from the 3rd. Expedition against the "Mad Mullah". Also notes on the military exploits of other members of the Weston-Jarvis family. Photo
