1896-97 An exquisite silver gilt and cloisonne enamel two compartment Fabergé stamp box by the famous workmaster Fyodor Rückert, the hinged lid at top beautifully enamelled with 5 and 7 Kopek stamps amid colourful scrolling foliage, and opening to a gilded and sloped interior with central division, the main body of the box showing a similar intricate pattern with the different colours of the design separated by gilded rope effect bands; an extremely fine and important stamp box made in the highest quality, which makes a great centre piece to any Stamp Box or Fine Russian Stamp collection.
