The fourth and final sale of the Allan Williams collection contains a further 180 Anglo-Saxon coins, including issues of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of Kent, Mercia, East-Anglia and Wessex, as well as a good run of Pennies of the later kings of England. There is also a rare Penny of Sihtric Analfsson, the Danish king of Dublin. Following these is a selection of almost 100 Norman coins, including 60 Pennies and cut Halfpennies of the anarchy under King Stephen, as well as rare Pennies of the Empress Matilda and Henry of Anjou.
