IVAN BUCK COIN COLLECTION (AND OTHER PROPERTIES)
AUCTIONED FOR £426,328 AT SPINK TODAY

Buyers queued outside Spink for half an hour before doors opened for the start of the Ivan Buck Sale today. This highly anticipated auction of 937 English silver coins covers a series which has long been of great interest to collectors and academic numismatists alike. Many coins that came up for sale were offered publicly for the first time, which amplified the importance of the sale. Ninety-six percent of the lots sold which realized £426,328 ($737,547).
