1942 (9 Oct.) card written form Mr. Satake working at the Sankyo Kabushiki Company, Rangoon Branch to Mr Kentaro Mizu( ?) at the main branch of the Sankyo Kabushiki Company in Osaka, bearing ½a. on 2s. bright scarlet tied by "rangoon g.p.o./sorting" double-ring d.s., fine. The interesting content about the life in Rangoon "... I arrived in Rangoon 17 September. I'm fine here don't worry. Here I met Mr Inoue and Mr. Ito, they are taking care of me...The accommodation of the company is 2 ri (7.8km) north from the centre surrounded by tropical woods and there is a tennis court. In the garden there are so many flowers blooming. It is so much different from outside that is bare ground.... Extremely rare, believed to be just one of two known used commercial postcards in the Anna-Rupee period between 22/9/1942 and 14/10/1942. B.P.A. Certificate (2023). Photo


Notes: The Sankyo Kabushiki Company still exists and it is specialized in the production of fertilizer.
