The heart of Spink UK's coin department is in its centrally located London showroom, with its vast array of coins on display. Here you will find experts on British hammered and milled coinage and ancient Greek, Roman, Indian & Islamic coins and medallions. It is also home to the bullion department.

Spink coin specialists are delighted to examine anything from chance finds, to important collections. The coin department constantly monitors the pulse of the world-wide coin market and is ready to offer professional guidance in order to assist in obtaining specific numismatic items, or to facilitate the formation of an extensive collection.

Spink UK holds a minimum of four annual coin auctions in its London saleroom, whilst Spink USA conducts most of its major US coin auctions in New York. Spink also holds coin auctions, as part of its Collectors Series in its Asian headquarters in Hong Kong.

Select collections can also be offered by private treaty, with Spink acting as a discrete intermediary between those offering items for sale and those wishing to purchase. We are pleased to be able to offer this as an on-line service to collectors located far afield, who might not be able to visit our showroom in person.
