1841-1980s, a collection of station postmarks and markings including Prudhoe, FlaxtonMilford Junction, Swindon Station, York, Halifax, Galloway Sorting Tender (6) with superb "galloway s.c." crown within circle impression in wax affixed to card, Aberdeen & Elgin S.C., Fife Sorting Tender, better envelopes include 1888 (31 Jan.) ½d. card uprated with Jubilee 1d. cancelled by "up - special - mail.t.p.o."1895 (2 Sept.) envelope to France bearing Jubilee 1d. and 2½d. (2) alongside id. lilac, all cancelled by "continental night-mail" d.s.; 1911 KEVII 1d. postal stationery envelope to Brusselles uprated with ½d. pair and KGV ½d. and 1d. pair, all cancelled with same d.s. A fine group with great scope.
