"Free" franks, collection of over 200 fronts (and an occasional entire) housed in a ring binder, including a good variety of types with "Apple" (6), Irish Mermaid removed (5), Shield (4), To Pay with a variety of types, other markings with Mileage, Sunday, etc., mixed condition. Also "A short account of the Franking System in the Post Office 1652-1840" by G. Brummell (1836).
